Welcome to huesbyarpita.com (“the Site”), operated by Hues by Arpita (“we”, “us”,
“our”). By accessing or using this Site, placing an order, or booking a workshop, you
agree to the following terms.

1. About Us
Hues by Arpita is a Singapore-based art studio operated by Arpita Das, offering original hand-painted artwork, art prints, commissioned pieces, and in-person art workshops
and camps from our home studio at 261 River Valley Road, Singapore 238307.
2. Products & Artwork
All artwork displayed on this Site is original and hand-painted unless otherwise
stated (e.g. prints or reproductions).
Colours may vary slightly between your screen and the physical piece due to
monitor calibration and lighting differences. We photograph all work in natural
light and represent colours as accurately as possible.
Dimensions listed are approximate and may vary by ±1 cm due to the handmade
nature of the work.
Once an artwork is sold, it is marked as unavailable. We do not produce
duplicates of original pieces.
3. Orders & Payment
All prices are listed in Singapore Dollars (SGD) unless otherwise stated.
Payment is processed securely through Shopify Payments, PayNow, or bank
transfer as indicated at checkout.
An order is confirmed only once full payment has been received and you have
received an order confirmation email.
We reserve the right to cancel any order if we suspect fraudulent activity.
4. Shipping & Delivery
We ship within Singapore. International shipping is available on request — please
contact us for a quote.
Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary depending on courier availability.
Risk of loss or damage passes to you upon delivery. However, if the item arrives
damaged, our Refund & Returns Policy applies (see above or the dedicated policy
page).
5. Workshops, Art Camps & Events
All workshop and camp bookings are subject to our Refund & Returns Policy
(non-refundable once confirmed, with limited transfer options as described).
By booking a children’s workshop or camp, the parent/guardian confirms that
the child is within the stated age range and has no medical conditions that would
prevent safe participation in an art activity (e.g. severe allergies to paint or art
materials). Please inform us of any allergies or special needs at the time of
booking.
Hues by Arpita reserves the right to photograph or video-record workshop
sessions for marketing and social media purposes. If you do not wish to be
photographed, please inform us before the session begins.
Parents/guardians are responsible for drop-off and pick-up at the stated times.
We are unable to supervise children outside of the scheduled session hours.
Hues by Arpita is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage to personal property
during a workshop, except where caused by our negligence.
6. Commissions
Commissioned artwork is subject to a separate Commission Agreement provided
at the time of enquiry.
A non-refundable deposit (typically 50%) is required to begin work on a
commission.
The remaining balance is due upon completion and approval of the final piece,
before delivery.
Minor artistic variations from reference images or sketches are inherent to handpainted work and do not constitute grounds for a refund.
7. Intellectual Property
All artwork, photographs, text, logos, and content on this Site are the intellectual
property of Hues by Arpita / Arpita Das unless otherwise credited.
Purchasing an original artwork grants you ownership of the physical piece.
Copyright and reproduction rights remain with the artist unless explicitly
transferred in writing.
You may not reproduce, print, or commercially distribute images of artwork
purchased from us without written permission.
8. Privacy
We collect personal information (name, email, phone, address) solely to fulfil
orders, process bookings, and communicate with you about your purchase or
enquiry.
We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties, except as required
to fulfil delivery (e.g. sharing your address with a courier).

9. Limitation of Liability
Hues by Arpita is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
arising from the use of this Site or the purchase of our products/services.
Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific
product or service in question.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any disputes
arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of
Singapore.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will
reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes
acceptance of the revised terms.
