Refund policy
Hues by Arpita — Refund & Returns Policy (Last updated: May 2026)
Thank you for supporting original art. Because every piece from Hues by Arpita is
hand-painted and one of a kind, our refund policy reflects the nature of what we create and offer.
Original Artwork & Prints
General rule — all sales are final.
Once an original painting, print, or art product has been delivered and received in
good condition, we are unable to offer refunds, returns, or exchanges. Each piece is a
unique, handmade work of art and cannot be resold as new once it has left the studio.
Exception — damaged or defective items.
If your artwork arrives damaged, or was already damaged at the time of delivery, we
will issue a full refund or replace the piece (subject to availability). To claim this:
1. Contact us within 48 hours of receiving the item.
2. Send clear photographs of the damage to darpitadas.23@gmail.com or message
us on WhatsApp at +65 8750 0065.
3. Include your order number and a brief description of the issue.
Once we verify the damage, we will process a full refund to your original payment
method within 7–10 business days, or arrange a replacement if you prefer and the
piece is still available.
Shipping damage. If damage occurred during shipping, we will handle the courier
claim on your behalf — you do not need to contact the shipping provider separately.
Cancellations before dispatch. If you wish to cancel an order before it has been
shipped, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate,
but once a piece has been packed and handed to the courier, the order is considered
fulfilled.
Workshops, Art Camps & Events
All workshop and art camp bookings are non-refundable once payment is
confirmed.
This includes (but is not limited to):
Summer Art Camp
Sip & Paint Afternoon
Mom & Me Workshop
Any private or group workshop booking
Why? Our workshops are small-batch experiences with limited seats (typically 5–6 per
session). When you book, that seat is reserved exclusively for you or your child, and
other interested participants are turned away. A last-minute cancellation means the
seat cannot be re-filled, and the materials, preparation, and planning for that seat
have already been committed.
| Situation | What we can do |
| You notify us 7+ days before the session |
Transfer your booking to a different available date/session (onetime, subject to availability) |
| You notify us 3–6 days before the session |
Transfer to a different date, or transfer the seat to a friend/family member of the same age group |
| You notify us less than 72 hours before | No transfer or refund is possible |
| You or your child are unwell on the day |
We will try our best to offer a make-up session at a future date, but this is not guaranteed and is at our discretion |
No-shows. If you or your child do not attend the session without prior notice, the
booking is forfeited with no refund or credit.
Cancellation by Hues by Arpita. In the rare event that we need to cancel a session
(e.g. instructor illness, insufficient enrolment, unforeseen circumstances), you will
receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another available date. We will notify
you as early as possible.
